Moving is never fun so thankfully Phil and his guys are around to make it easier. Phil is very responsive, he answered every call and every question I had before booking. The crew showed up early and ready to get my move done. The team was careful with my belongings without riding the clock or over-packaging/wrapping things. Discount Movers is a solid moving company for anyone in Birmingham. I would recommend them to any of my family and friends. Thanks, Phil! Phil has moved me again and will be moving me into my new home soon. I’ve used movers in different states and cities and can honestly say Phil is the only mover I’d write a review for. Each time he’s helped me, it’s been less stressful and easier than I expected. Thank you Phil, I appreciate your help!

After the movers I hired backed out on me later than last minute, Discount Movers saved the day! It was Friday evening and no other moving companies were even answering their phones. But Phil and Solomon with Discount Movers showed up less than an hour after I got off the phone with them. They loaded up all my belongings, drove across town and unloaded everything in less than four hours. At night. In the rain. These guys are fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Birmingham area!

I was in total disarray about my move initially. I contacted Phil 24hrs before I needed his service. Not only did Phil fit me in at last minutes notice, his crew was excellent. I will definitely utilize Discount Movers again!

This is a great moving company! Not only did they have great rates, they were on time, friendly, and they went above and beyond and took the time to hook up the washer and drier. Phil is awesome. I highly recommend discount movers!

Quick! Efficient! Professional! The two guys that moved my things (I can’t remember their names) were great! They got my things moved in under the estimated time. They definitely know what they are doing. Phil, the owner, also keeps in touch with you up until the time of your move, which I love. I would 100% recommend them!

I was needing a moving company to move my three bedroom apartment into a three bedroom house, so I called several different moving companies. When I called Discount Movers, the owner of the company Phil answered the phone, gave me a better quote then the other three major moving companies, and by the end of the call I had movers lined up on short notice. I called on a Tuesday and was lined up for 8:30 Saturday morning. The movers were great. The owner of the company, Phil, even came on site to supervise his movers. They did a fantastic job, in a time efficient manner, and carried themselves professionally. If you are looking for great movers, for better prices than the major competitors, then Discount Movers is the company for you.

I had the pleasure of using Discount Movers on Friday, January 26th. Phil was excellent in helping me with this movie. Everything went as planned, on time, courteous, took great care with my furnishings, and reasonable. The guys went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I gladly recommend them and would use again.

I will be using Discount Movers for my next move. The price was Awesome for what all I needed moved. Then it started raining I was looking for the guys to stop but no they keep moving and they had blankets to cover my items up to keep them from getting wet. I was really shocked when the owner Phil helped moved items. This is what you call dedication to the job at it's best.

Phil and his staff are awesome. This moving company went above and beyond. I highly recommend them for all your moving needs. They are very friendly, hardworking, helpful, and are an excellent team. Most definitely using them again!!! ☺

Very reliable, efficient and professional. They arrived on time, got everything out and packed safely. When my car wouldn't start and I became overwhelmed with all that I had going on they were very supportive and helpful. We got to the apartment and it was not a walk-in level as I had been told previously. They waited for a few and then we just went ahead and moved in. They worked with me during the entire move. All and all excellent service. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone!
